ALF - Filling and sealing in a narrow design

Ampoules are the package of choice for many drugs. They completely encase the product in inert glass, with no rubber stopper or other material in contact with the drug.

Bosch offers the ALF, a flexible filler for ampoules and vials, filling at speeds up to 500 per minute.

The Bosch DRN coding machine applies ring banding to completed ampoule tips for identification.

Standard Features

  • These fillers can be supplied with bottom-up filling, "no ampoule - no fill" capability, checkweighing, adjustable suckback and automatic fill volume adjustment.

  • Sealing is either by conventional gas flame or the new Bosch laser sealing system.

  • Most fillers can be integrated into a variety of filling systems (including barrier isolators and RABS) to give the maximum flexibility in filling line design.
