C.I.K. stands for the Nattermann project, “Capsules in Köln”. Due to a sharp increase in demand for the Essentiale liver preparation, developed in Köln more than 20 years ago (a liquid product in capsules), it was decided to increase capacity considerably and to implement the entire process in Köln, where the goods had previously only been packed, released and shipped.
