Facts
Individual pump configuration:
- Number of ingredients pumps unlimited
- Formula reproducability
- Each pump group has its own motor with a control gear
- The piston dosing pumps are grouped into a task-based unit and synchronously driven by one drive
- Weighing system for basic batch and all ingredients as an alternative
Method of operation
The basic mass - made up of sugar, water, glucose syrup, gelatine and/or other gelatinizing agents- is pumped from the supply hopper to the individual static mixers by one or more piston pumps. The piston pumps for ingredients such as color, flavor and fruit juice are mechanically synchronised with the batch pump. The recipe is changed by adjusting the stroke and the output is changed by adjusting the speed. A supply tank is provided for acids when the same acid is used for all mixing stations. The individual components are brought together in a seeding unit then fed to a static mixer. A fully homogeneous mixing then takes place. The self-contained mixing system produces a consistent, clear, homogeneous and bubble-free high-quality product. A sight window is provided as a flow inspection facility (drop check) as an optional extra. Depositable solutions can be produced that have any choice of flavour and colour.
