Overview
The continuous cooking machine with vacuumising and batch unloading is used to manufacture sugar batches.The cooking machine BKS 0156 is fed with either a sugar solution of 80% DS, a sugar solution from the pressure dissolver 118 of max. 85% DS or a crystallised sugar-glucose syrup-water mixture of max. 80% DS. In the chrome-nickel steel cooking coil the sugar solution is then thickened by boiling down to the required dry substance of, for instance, 96 to 97% DS.
