Overview
Construction and function:
  • The drum and supply hopper are assembled on an easily accessible and easy-to-clean frame.
  • The fluid cooling agent is pumped through the twin-walled drum.
  • Uniform surface temperature from counter-acting cooling circuits.
  • Product does not stick because of the wear-resistant non-stick coating.
  • The drum diameter is 1700 mm, and that is with an available usable width of 600 mm.
  • Different types of soft sugar masses can be cooled with the cooling drum.
  • A hopper matched to each product transfers the batch uniformly onto the drum.
  • Cooling can be influenced by the temperature of the cooling agent, the film thickness of the product and the rotary speed of the drum.
  • A scraper guarantees the product is lifted dependably for cross-over to the conveyor belt.
