In the extruder head the filling is pumped into the rope by the fill pump. Facts The filled rope that leaves the extruder travels on a conveyor belt into the laminating unit on the batch former. In the batch former the batch is laid as a loop and formed into a cone. An additional vertical batch feeder then lays a covering batch around the laminated batch cone. The tip of the batch cone is gripped by the rope former. In the rope former the rope is stretched until the required diameter is reached and it is then formed into sweets in the forming machine.
