Overview
Method of operation at a glance:
- Feed of the sugar-batch rope from the batch/rope former or from the form extruder with cooling tunnel
- Each pair of form rollers is driven by a servo motor
- The sugar batch rope is cut during its continuous feed movement by a knife that is guided on an elliptical track
- Round or oval cross-sections can be cut and wrapped
- Full balancing prevents vibrations and assists in reducing noise
- The cut sweet-pieces are held firmly before, during and after the cutting process by two drums
- Maximum of two packaging material reels for both the outer and the inner overwraps
- Packaging material reels clamped easily and securely by pneumatic quick-release couplings
- Unifom packaging material unwinding
- The two packaging material draw-off rollers operate continuously
- Infinitely adjustable packaging material cutting by draw-off rollers with servo drives
- Device "no sweet, no packaging material"
- Exact packaging material cutting (scissors cut)
- The cut sweet is held securely in the eight-piece transfer head by swivel grippers. In this way the guided sweets are precisely positioned for the wrapping process. A gripper-to-gripper transfer brings the sweets into the gripper head
- In the eight-piece gripper head the packaging material sections are brought together with the sweets by the inner and outer wrapping machines or only by the outer wrapping machines and prefolded in the folded bend
- The eight-piece packaging head takes over and completes the overwrapping process: at the transfer the packaging material is folded to the U.
- Inner folding then takes place. The wrap outer fold takes place in a fixed folded bend
The eight-piece rotary head
- The rotary heads continuously turn the packaging material ends
- The packaging material ends are held by rotary grippers that rotate around their own axles
- Opening and closing of the rotary grips curve-controlled by adjustable oscillation movement (0-16 mm), in order to be able to follow the packaging material ends as they get shorter
- Choice of settings for 1.1 to 1.6 or 2.1 rotations for the rotary grippers
