BURGOPAK packaging design employs a patented operating system, which presents the product in a sliding tray. More than 20 million BURGOPAK boxes have been produced for a wide range of products, including mobile telephones, SIM cards and other electronic goods. One recent product launch has seen the pack style adapted to the pharmaceutical needs of OTC pill applications. The new BURGOPAK solution offers particular advantages for pills and capsules in blister packs. It is portable and easier to access than conventional packaging and the user leaflet is conveniently packaged with the pills. There is increased patient convenience, yet this is combined with increased safety. Furthermore, the BURGOPAKs are extremely difficult to counterfeit due to the sliding mechanism.
